Social media tip of the week (you don’t want to miss this!)

NOTE TO READER: If you are advanced social media user, you may find this post irrelevant. However, you can post tips and tricks in the comments section to help our social media family grow!

Use the note function on Facebook. Don’t know what/where it is? Let me know and I’ll walk you through. Your friends can subscribe to your notes AND you can even TAG them in notes (to make sure they take notice). What’s the point? It keeps your information in front of the reader without them having to do a lot of work.

I’ve encouraged my friends to subscribe to my notes for things like job openings, media requests, fun facts, etc… That way they AUTOMATICALLY see my “notes feed” everytime they check their RSS feeds–even if they’re not signed into Facebook.

Still confused? Let me know! Send me an email right now:

It sounds like a good idea, but it would probably be a hassle convincing people to sign up for yet another feed.

Hi Sarah, thanks for being a newly discovered resource for me! You offer so much to learn from (yes, Vocus webinars DO rock, that’s where I found your site and blog). I just became aware of Notes on FB and they look like a useful tool. Looking to discover more. Is this the contact form to reach you at.

    Many thanks again,

    A new mentee,
    Ann
