Mission @MScathybrowne: 6 weeks or bust
I don’t normally do this, but I’m recommending a person I’ve never met in person for a job. That’s right. Cathy Browne (a.k.a. @MScathybrowne on Twitter) is a peer in the PR industry looking for a job and I want to help her. Not only do I want to help her, I hope that you might, too.
I virtually met Cathy via Twitter, Facebook and just this evening via phone – and, boy, she is the real deal. All we need to do is help Cathy make a connection, I have no doubt she will land the job on her own. Her strength? “I translate geek into English.” Can you beat that?
We (that is if you want to help) have six weeks to help her get a job so she does not have to uproot her life and leave behind everything she knows and loves. Find out what I’m talking about, here.
The ultimate power of social media–connecting our networks in order to help others.
Cathy would like to stay in the industry she is passionate about–technical PR for small businesses or start up companies. She would also like to stay near California (she’s lived there for 8 years).
If you’re on Twitter, copy and paste this information and send it out! (In fact, make a commitment to send it out once per day for several days.)

That is great that you went out of your way to try to help Cathy get a job. I’d also like to know if she had any success with that.
