Thanks for this resource. Personally I don’t use Twitter, but it would be interesting to see how the big media outlets use twitter. I think it would become quite overwhelming due to the high amount of tweets.

hi.nice one. thanks for the link.in my opinion it seems to me that traditional broadcasting is at a crossroads. With the recent influx of independent, non-conventional media outlets such as podcasting, video sharing, and everything else that the Internet has brought us, the mainstream entertainment industry is scrambling to get on the cutting edge of Internet-based technology and on-demand entertainment. What do you predict the future of broadcasting will entail?

The best thing to do is your own research and not to rely on media at all. Anyone who doesn’t think that most of the media is liberal is a fool and clearly stuck in a bubble.

The traditional newspaper business model is dying out fast, and what better way to keep people on top of news in pretty much real time? The twitter teaser just links off to the relevant article. Lovely stuff, but how are they going to make money off this?

I am completing a project on non-fiction articles and for a portion of the assignment, we are to describe the meris of major and alternative media outlets. A couple of notes for each would be great!
