OVERVIEW: FTC Guidelines for Online Endorsements

Later this week I have the privilege of keynoting at the PRSA T3 conference and sharing insights with the TechMunch community. During the TechMunch panel I’ll be talking about the FTC Guidelines and how they impact bloggers. As a supplement to that discussion I created a very basic overview. Feel free to beg, borrow and steal.

    @Laptop, you are right, it is always best to know the ins and outs, it never hurts to be 100% sure of your rights these days. I am sure though over time, the FTC will continue to revise its guidelines.

    I think it is important to establish clear guidelines regarding commercial endorsements of blogs or sites. However, I think guidelines should be made much clearer.
