I would like to email this or print it, but your blog is not allowing it–when I click on the ’share’ icon it flashes briefly and goes away. I want to share it with my PR students at UNT. How do I get it as a document.

Awesome resource! Thank for sharing.
Just a heads up that WTHashtag.com is now defunct (and I’m really bummed about it because I loved this free service!). I’ve used hashtags.org, but it’s not as good because it doesn’t show you the number of tweets with hashtags over a 7-day period like WTHashtag did. It does list out recent tweets with the hashtag though, and I’ve noticed it pulls in some tweets that Tweetdeck misses.
There are pros and cons with every free service. But this is a great list!

I’m a solo PR, so I can’t resist taking and sharing free tools. Like that you broke this out by category.. quick addition to Twitter, Buffer one I am thisclose to trying for myself as maybe a better way to schedule tweets. Also like that you call this a ‘tool kit’ or guide, as it’s the tools of the trade, not the trade itself. FWIW.

Hi Sara, I just listened to the webinar you did with http://www.roost.com and I liked the term “content marketing” and thought that point was very interesting and there was a lot of truth to what you say about original content.
I would add http://www.roost.com to this as a free tool to help with social marketing, namely twitter and facebook. Wouldn’t you?
I personally like the way you can schedule out your posts and keep a cadence on your page.

Thanks for the list. I am always looking for social media tools. Are there any free social media management tools that you suggest? Currently I like the following free versions of nutshell mail, bit.ly, hootsuite, rockmelt, postling, socialOomph.

That’s a neat way to show your content. How did you do that thing with the scrollable box? Is that some crazy coding that you have to do or like a pulgin?

My favorite free stuff for WP specifically is the all in one seo plugin and blurbrry, they are both really helpful and easy to use.

This is awesome – thanks! I’m a PR pro, and a HUGE fan of HARO as well. Peter’s service is by far the best – and it’s TOTALLY FREE! I hadn’t heard of ReportingOn or BeatBlogging though, so thanks for the tips!

@Ed: If you go to the document on Slideshare it’s downloadable (is that a word) and all the links should work for you. Hope that helps! -Sarah
