Does Magisk root your phone?
Magisk is, without a doubt, one of the best tools a rooted user can tap into when customizing any Android device. You can install modules to do just about anything you want systemlessly, which means they won't permanently overwrite your system files. Once you uninstall them and reboot, you're right back to stock.
Magisk is a “systemless” Rooting tool that is used to elevate privileges to gain system-level access (root access) to the Android OS and underlying file system. Magisk does not make changes to the Android bootloader or require flashing custom ROM.
You should know that Magisk Manager is used to Root an Android phone so it does not Require Root Access itself to install.
What to Know
- First, unlock your phone's bootloader and install TWRP custom recovery.
- Download Magisk and copy the zip file into the Download folder on your phone.
- Reboot your phone into recovery mode and install Magisk with TWRP.

Unroot by uninstalling Magisk Since there aren't many alternatives to Magisk when it comes to rooting, your only real option for unrooting is to remove any traces of Magisk from your device.
