Does Tyson like Mayweather?
Mike Tyson Once Revealed Why He Isn't Friends With Floyd Mayweather: “I Do Want to Click With Him and Then…” The chemistry between two boxing legends of a different era, Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, is very complicated. The two respect each other, but very often disagree and go back and forth.
Tyson in his prime was roughly 50% larger than Mayweather. Outside of his prime, even larger than that. This isn't even a fair fight, and Mayweather would get destroyed. He couldn't do anything to bother Tyson, and Tyson could knock him out with one punch at any given moment.
Of course, Muhammad Ali was Tyson's idol as he met the heavyweight icon during his time at a New York juvenile detention centre. The children were shown a film about Ali to inspire them, only for him to then walk in and introduce himself as an inspirational special guest.
Rick Reeno of The Boxing Scene (h/t USA Today, Larry Brown Sports) reports that 50 Cent, Floyd Mayweather's best friend, may just be joining hated rival Manny Pacquiao in a business venture.
"Me," Tyson said when asked about his toughest fight by Stephen Fulton Jr. in a recent episode of Hotboxin' With Mike Tyson. "That's been my toughest fight all along."
