Yes yes, a lot of people saw it and bought it, personally I really enjoyed it, but what I wonder is if it actually made more than 70m USD in total from blu rays and subscriptions, because that was the amount of money put into it.
Bloomberg is reporting that HBO Max had the biggest jump in video streaming last week, mostly thanks to the debut of Zack Snyder's much-discussed four-hour cut of Justice League. The AT&T streaming platform recording an 8.9% jump in folks launching the mobile app.
Based on the production history alone, Warner Bros. never wanted Snyder's version of Justice League to be released. The executives meddled with the project before Snyder stepped down, and then used his exit to produce the movie they wanted — all while avoiding delaying Justice League's release.
Justice League's original script was rewritten before production, and got fresh changes in 2021, meaning there were 4 versions of the film. Zack Snyder's Justice League officially debuted in March 2021, meaning that there are now technically four different live-action Justice League movies.
